Drone Inspections
Often during an inspection, the roof or sections of the roof are not visible from ground level, due to the height and configuration of the property, especially when the property is over 2 stories or has flat sections of the roof.
Therefore, we offer a drone photographic roof inspection service to our clients at an additional cost, that will form part of the survey report and will be recorded within the roof section of both the Level 2 and Level 3 reports.
The additional cost will be quoted at the time of providing a formal quote, at which time you can indicate whether you would like to proceed.
We use modern high-quality Drones (DJI) with a 4K cameras and are often able to discover defects we would not have been able to see otherwise, such as: –
- Chimney defects
- Blocked valley/box gutters
- Flat roof defects
- Slate/tile roof covering defects
- Dormer roof covering defects
The surveyor is a registered operator with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and is fully insured.
The drone inspections are subject to the freeholder’s permission, local air traffic restrictions and the weather, so are not always possible. If the inspection is not undertaken no charge will be applied.
We can also offer standalone drone roof inspections, for homeowners or owners of commercial properties, please get in touch if you would like a quote.
